what doctype is right to use?

also i did a suggestion i found on another site and i added these mime types to my htaccess file:

AddType video/ogg .ogv
AddType video/mp4 .mp4
AddType video/webm .webmand it began working for firefox. so right now it works in ie and ff, but not mobile (android). don't know about mobile (iphone) cause i don't have one.so why is mobile browser having trouble? i know html5 works on there because i played html5 games on there before.maybe it's not the browser, maybe it's the movie player app? i'm guessing it uses an app. guess i'll check doctype and video player app next.

i may have spoke too soon about IE. it works in compatibility mode, but not in IE9 standard mode.

i forgot to upload some changes and now it works a bit better but still doesn't work right. still works in ie and still doesn't work in ff or android mobile, but this time i get the play button and it wants to play for firefox and mobile but the little circle animation just goes on forever in firefox and movie never loads. for mobile i press play and it tries to open video and play it but then i get an error that says "Cannot play video Sorry, this video cannot be played."

trying my darndest to embed cross browser/cross platform video and i have all the different video format files and poster image file and i'm trying so many different tutorials and scripts/codes, but nothing is working.
the only thing i can come up with is permission issues with the files or i don't have doctype set right. none of the tutorials and demo pages talk about doctypes.

using the instructions of this page and the library from videojs site, it works in IE but not firefox or android. don't know about iphone because i don't have one to test.

any help would be highly appreciated.

Can you go into any more depth as to how to actually implement this code. I have gotten an api key, included all dependencies, copy and pasted your sample code and the sample code from github. and done the initialization js at the end. No map shows up - I am baffled... help?

I always knew this was going to happen. All HTML websites open fine on Chrome and every time I try to open the same on IE, it ends with some problem. So ,from this we can make sure that IE is no longer an user friendly browser and I stopped using it a long time back. Even now it is evident that HTML 5 is not opening that fine on IE.

This one breaks when you start feeding it a number of locations to geocode :(

It shows some but not all, and the ones it does show seem fairly random.
